Man Trapped Between Vehicle and Tree

This afternoon Company 2 and Medic 2 were dispatched to Poplar Grove Dr for a subject trapped between a truck and a tree. Medic 23, Engine 2, and Car 2 responded. Units arrived on scene to find one patient on the ground underneath a truck and not pinned between the truck and tree. Assistant Chief 2 (Heptinstall) assumed command. The patient was transported to the local trauma facility. The remaining units on scene ensured that there were no hazards coming from the truck involved. Remaining units cleared shortly afterwards.
