Brush Fire in the First Due

Company 2 was dispatched to Toddsbury Dr for a reported brush fire around 1:00pm today. Engine 2 and Medic 23 responded. Units arrived to fined a large brush pile behind a residence on fire and already contained by the homeowner who was burning the pile. Due to the location of the residence the fire had to be extinguished. Crews went to work and stretched a forestry line from Engine 2. After the fire had been knocked down, foam was applied to the brush pile. Crews operated on scene for about an hour and half.
