Company 2 held it's annual elections tonight. The results are as follows:

Chief: Richard Oakes

Assistant Chief: Chris Heptinstall

Deputy Chief: Craig Sheets

Captain: Keith Ball

Lieutenant: Tim Gonzalez

President: Dip English

Vice President: Dan Rogers Sr.

Secretary: Jordan Keyser

Treasurer: Scott Morfitt

Also tonight, H.L. Offenbacker was made a life member of the Vinton Fire Department after 20 years of service in Vinton and his 42nd overall. H.L. was also a life member of Covington, Va Fire Department before coming to Vinton.

Chief Benny Powell was also bestowed with the title of Chief Emeritus after serving as Chief for over 15 years.
