3 Graduate From Volunteer Academy

Tonight Company 2 had 3 members graduate from the Roanoke County Volunteer Academy #9. Guy Simmons, Jordan Keyser, and Preston Gonzalez completed the 6 month academy and were recognized tonight along with all of their classmates from other county stations. Graduates were pinned by their respective fire chief.

All 3 are now certified to Firefighter 1 and HAZMAT Operations levels.

Company 2 is extremely proud of these 3 members. They have shown tremendous dedication and have represented the Vinton Fire Department well throughout the course of the academy.
