Engine 2 Runs Structure Fire in Clearbrook

Company 7 was dispatched for a structure fire on Franklin Road at 5:17am. Initial units arriving on scene found a one story residential structure with smoke and fire showing. Crews initiated an interior attack, but quickly backed out due to deteriorating conditions and due to the lack of an adequate water supply. Command requested additional units, which lead to Ladder 2 being dispatched. Battalion 1 requested that Engine 2 respond in the place of Ladder 2. Engine 2 responded with 5. Upon arrival, Engine 2 laid 5" from the road, up the driveway, and connected to Wagon 7. Engine 2's crew assisted in overhaul.
