The Passing of Barry Fuqua

With great sadness the Vinton Fire Department announces the passing of Chief Emeritus Barry Fuqua. Chief Fuqua passed last night, August 11, 2011. Chief Fuqua served as Fire Chief for the Vinton Fire Department from 1982 until 1995.

Arrangements are as follows:

Visitation will be Sunday, August 14th, from 4pm until 6pm at the Updike Funeral Home in Bedford, VA

A Christian burial mass will be held Monday, August 15th, at 1pm at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Bedford, VA
